Revelation 4:11 NLT
“You are worthy, O Lord our God,
to receive glory and honor and power.
For you created all things,
and they exist because you created what you pleased.”

Is this our prayer every day? To give our Lord glory and honor and praise because He is the Creator? We are nothing but mere humans created by the Almighty God... He loves us and cares for us! We need to be thankful to Him by leading lives of.worship and of praise. We serve the Almighty!! what a privelege!
8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:

There are two things that stuck out to me here. In the first half the beast that is described. Revelation is full of these. i really do not understnad what this means however it does go to show that the majority of Gods wisdom is out of the grasp of human understanding. The second phase of this verse is quoted in a very popular worship song and very elegantly states the truth of the everlasting qualities of our Gods love for us. That these beasts the i do not understand nor can i fathom never cease to praise our God. Who was and is and is to come. Amen!

ReplyDelete2. At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne.
What is it like to be in the spirit? I have been thinking about this a lot after how John was in the spirit. 1:10. What must it be like to be in the spirit because we have the spirit within us upon our belief in Christ as our messiah. We have raised this questions in D-group before, then if you are not living of the spirit then have you truly trusted/put your faith in Christ? This is a though I am working through and asking God for my faith to be strengthened daily.

ReplyDeleteThese verses show us how much God loves it when we praise Him and honor Him. Every time we do this something amazing happens at His throne. So I will make this short and sweet: praise and honor God everyday with every bone in your body and He will be most pleased and glorified.

ReplyDeleteEverything exists by the will of God. Nothing has existed, is existing, or will exist without our Holy God's permission. Do we really understand how great our God actually is? He is totally in control. How would our lives look different if we really believed these truths?
